Why WOW Rosies Exists
WOW Rosies exists to honor the women who served on the home front during World War II and to make sure their stories, sacrifices, and legacy are never forgotten. Through appearances, education, public events, and historical outreach, the chapter helps communities connect with the real history behind Rosie the Riveter.
All About Our Story
One of WOW Rosies' most meaningful outreach efforts is the Rosie Honor Banners program, created to honor individual World War II Rosies. These banners allow communities to celebrate women who served when they may no longer be able to attend parades or public events themselves as well as honor those who have passed.
Each banner helps preserve a personal legacy and bring Rosie history into public view.
